The SN74LS628N is a voltage-controlled oscillator. The voltage controlled ocillator is improved version of the original VCD. The SN74LS628N features improved voltage to frequency linearity, range and compensation. With the exception of the SN74LS628N it features two independent VCOs in a singke monolithic chip.
